Performance Update:

still no luck with the intake mani... pretty much have to think out the box on this one Honda wants R4800.00 for a brand new Intake Mani min 15 day back order.. hell no will i pay that for plastic manifold.

anyways this still did not stop Hunter from competing at Matuba last week.

she is still stock & running of factory stock COs & timings - 16.637 @ 136.24km/hr
ran with 1/2 tank in the morning session.

i am really impressed with the D17 i wonder how responsive she will be when the intake is sorted & maybe i'll do decat as well

Update: 7 DECAT

well on Friday Hunter had went in for a Decat!
& she seems to be running really well! the cat is not actually a cat but more like a resonator box, just below the header collector. the car sounds very raspy but seems to be clearing up as the carbon builds up. actually she sounds like a mini me E46 M3 hahahahahaa. hoping to do a full 57mm exhaust soon. i want to leave the standard headers as they seem to be working just perfect.

she was dynoed on Sunday & she pushed out 88kw @ 152 nm on the wheels. convert figures to fly wheel & she is pushing: around 98.2 kw @ +/-172nm. the dyno could have been over reading as i doubt removing the CAT would increase overall power that much. well only a 1/4 time will tell....
