If I can make a suggestion...rather take the valve cover to be powder coated. My cover only cost me about R70 to do, it includes sandblasting, cleaning and the powder coat. When it's done, just sand out the emblem and it will end up looking like this:

Ahhh there is a place just down the road from Greg's Work Shop, they do Powder Coating.
they are next to the Hi-Q
